When I first saw the Etos Bronzing Powder I was not very excited because it is very shimmery. I personally prefer to use a matte bronzer, so I kept this in a drawer untill the other day. I read a review online about this powder and someone was comparing it to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. After reading that review I looked at this product again and thought that the shades might look great as eyeshadow, since they have neutral shades and shimmer. Plus, if it works nice on the eyes than I might have found the most compact eye palette ever that has all the shades you need for a neutral look =)
I have the shade Shine To Shimmer which are bronzed colors that are suitable for a fair skin tone. They are very light bronzed colors that gradually go up to a darker bronze, which is still light and subtle for a bronzer.
It comes with five gorgeous colors. Three soft brown shades, one dark pink and a white that can be used as a highlighter. If you prefer matte bronzers as well you might be able to tell why I was hesitant to use this as an all over bronzer.
How pretty do they look when swatched? I can already see what a gorgeous eye look this can make. Of course it can be used as a bronzer on the face or as a higlighter, but I prefer to keep my face matte and only add shimmer to the eyes. It has good pigmentation. I only needed one swipe of product to get the results that you can see above. I did give it a chance as an all over bronzer, but once I applied it was indeed quite shimmery as I was expecting. So I am going to stick with this as eyeshadow, since I love these shades for the eyes.
